Welcome to the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe
The spiritual heart and architectural icon of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

A Living Church at the Heart of Puerto Vallarta
Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish is not just the most photographed landmark in Puerto Vallarta — it is a living faith community that has served this city for over a century. Often called a “cathedral” by visitors for its iconic crown and commanding presence in the historic center, this Catholic parish is the spiritual and architectural reference point of the city.
From its first chapel in 1883 to the famous crown installed in the 1960s, every stone tells the story of a community that built its church with faith, perseverance, and the folk art tradition that makes it unique.
